Just brought home your new puppy? Feeling overwhelmed by potty accidents and puppy biting? Puppy Pre-School is here to give your puppy the best start to life, and offer practical and easy solutions to common puppy problems.

During your 4-week group course you will build your puppy's confidence, provide safe socialisation opportunities, teach your puppy foundation skills like sit, settle, nose touch and more, and receive help for common puppy problems.

This 4-week group course is designed to give your puppy the best start to life, by focusing on essential life skills such as neutrality, confidence building, creating calmness, and foundational skills.

During this course you will learn:

How to safely and correctly socialise your puppy
Fun and easy ways to build your puppy's confidence
The basics of how to train your puppy
How to teach your puppy to sit, nose touch and lie down
Solutions to common puppy problems like toilet training and puppy biting
How to encourage your puppy to settle at home and in new situations
How to harmoniously live with your puppy

Please bring:

Your puppy!
Your puppy's up-to-date vaccination records - 8 week old puppies MUST have their first vaccinations. 14 week old puppies MUST have at least 2 rounds of vaccinations.
A mat for your puppy to rest on - this can be a puppy mat, blanket, or bath mat.
A chewy treat for your puppy to work on while we talk - eg. a pigs ear, a frozen Lickimat/Kong, a soft puppy chew, a dental chew.
A regular 1.2-1.8 meter lead - no bungee leads or retractable / flexi leads please.
Your puppy must wear a flat collar or a well-fitting harness.
About 300 grams of soft, very yummy treats. I recommend Prime-100 dog roll from Petbarn/Petstock. Their puppy salmon or turkey recipe is excellent. Cooked chicken breast and cheese cubes are also a big hit.
